Caryn DePasquale is a strong healthcare service professional with a Master of Science (M.S.) focused in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor from Grand Canyon University. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and earned her Master’s of Arts Degree in Psychology at Douglass College, Rutgers University-New Brunswick, NJ. Caryn is currently a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the state of Florida.

Caryn is an experienced Professional Counselor with a demonstrated history of working with all populations with an emphasis on sexual abuse victims. Skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, Crisis Intervention, Clinical Supervision, Public Speaking, and Psychology. Caryn is a Masters Level Substance Abuse Counselor in Southwest Florida and Certified in Traumatic Grief Therapy for Adults and Children from MUSC. Caryn has worked with many different populations including children who have been sexually abused, individuals struggling with homelessness, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, and individuals seeking care for a spectrum of mental health needs. In addition, she is trained in using the “From Darkness to Light” therapy with non-offending family members.

Caryn utilizes diverse therapeutic modalities such as Client-centered therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution -focused therapy and Play Therapy Intervention.

Caryn seeks to provide individual counseling to children, Adolescents and Adults, along with couples Counseling, Family Therapy and Group Counseling.
