Megan Goddard, LCSW, RPT is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida and Registered Play Therapist. She attained a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Human Services and Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College. In 2015 Megan co-founded Sunshine State Counseling Center in Bonita Springs, FL.

Megan has experience and training to provide individual psychotherapy, working with emotionally disturbed children, group counseling and family work. She has worked with challenges surrounding grief, adjustment issues throughout the life cycle, depression, anxiety, anger management, social skills, family violence, divorce and the many facets of trauma.

Megan works with clients to identify their personal therapeutic goals to co-create the most enriching path toward optimal health. Megan works with children, families & adults struggling with a specific challenge in life, relationships, continuing growth on the ever-expanding path of life, assisting children and teens on unresolved childhood trauma, family issues and stress using multiple therapeutic modalities such as but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, enriched by the use of play and art techniques.
