Kathleen Rodriguez is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Florida board approved supervisor. In 2014, Kathleen graduated with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, since, she has provided a wide range of counseling to children, adolescents and adults in diverse communities and cultural backgrounds. She fluently provides mental health therapy in English and Spanish. Kathleen currently uses a variety of theoretical approaches including but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma informed therapy, Substance Abuse Counseling, Couples Counseling, Therapeutic Play and Motivational Interviewing. During the process of therapy, Kathleen strives to provide empathy, support and guidance to individuals and families struggling with managing their mental health needs. Her dedication and motivation to help others in need is her driving force behind choosing this career path for herself.
Amongst the challenges Kathleen has worked with, she has served children and families in outpatient capacity struggling with ADHD, ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, mood disorders such anxiety and depression, families enduring conflictive divorce, stress post trauma and behavioral challenges. Kathleen prides herself in providing a non-judgmental and safe environment to her clients.
