Allyson Donnellon
Allyson Donnellon is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Florida Gulf Coast University after earning her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Michigan State University. She is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate personal challenges, emotional growth, and life transitions.
Allyson values creating a supportive and genuine therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable expressing themselves openly. She believes that meaningful change begins within a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and collaboration. Her goal is to help clients recognize their strengths while developing the tools and confidence needed to move toward healing and personal growth.
She also has a special interest in play therapy and enjoys learning creative and developmentally appropriate ways to help children communicate, process emotions, and build healthy coping skills. Allyson is passionate about meeting clients where they are and tailoring her approach to each individual’s unique needs and experiences.
Outside of counseling, Allyson enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and continuing to expand her knowledge and skills as a future counselor.
