Health Insurance & Fees
Psychotherapy fees range from $99-175/hour. Payment is due at time service is rendered. Counseling is a time and financial commitment and at Sunshine State Counseling Center we feel that it is important to collaboratively create a treatment plan. The amount of sessions needed vary based on the client and their needs.
Insurance
Sunshine State Counseling Center is registered as an out-of-network and in-network provider for most insurance carriers. You can receive reimbursement from your insurance carrier, if you have out-of-network coverage. As a courtesy, we can provide a statement for you to file with your insurance carrier for out-of-network reimbursement.
If we are in-network with your insurance carrier, as a courtesy, we will verify your benefits as in-network provider. However, your insurance carrier may pay less than the actual bill for the services received including but not limited to co-payments and deductibles. Any services not covered by your insurance carrier will be billed directly to you.

Method of Payment
Payment can be made in the form of cash, check (made payable to Sunshine State Counseling Center, LLC), major credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.
We charge $2.90 cents convenience fee per transaction with all credit and debit cards.
Cancellation Policy
If your scheduled appointment needs to be canceled, a notice of 24 business hours is required prior to the scheduled appointment day and time or a there will be a charge for the full fee session. In the case of therapist needing to cancel a scheduled appointment, the therapist will notify you by telephone prior to the scheduled session of the cancellation.
