Lizzie began her career working for a youth violence intervention program providing services to individuals at risk and their families. She then went on to provide family therapy with an evidence based model (Family Centered Treatment), where she worked with children and their caregivers, to process their trauma, learn new skills, and heal as a family unit.
Lizzie’s specialties are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She commonly integrates somatic approaches to address the connection between mind and body, is passionate about taking a systemic approach to therapy, and recognizes how relationships impact trauma and healing.
Lizzie is a firm believer that in the therapeutic setting, you – the Client – are the expert on your life, and her role is to provide a safe space for you to heal and grow in the directions you choose.
Lizzie is queer affirming and is passionate about serving individuals and families of all identities.
